Meet the Pastor

Pastor Eddie Eaton

Bro. Eddie was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky in 1968 where his father was stationed in the military. After his father was discharged the family lived in Bristol, Tennessee before moving to Vernon, Florida while he was in the seventh grade. Bro. Eddie graduated from Vernon High School in 1987. Bro. Eddie accepted Jesus Christ as his savior on August 12, 1990 and was baptized on September 29, 1990. Five years later he surrendered to the call of God on his life to preach the Gospel. He was licensed on March 19, 1995 and in June of that same year he was ordained into the Gospel ministry. Bro. Eddie has been the pastor of two churches. He is the former pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Bonifay, Florida where he served for 10 years. And has been serving West Pittman since May of 2005. Bro. Eddie earned an AA degree from Florida Baptist Theological College and is currently a student with Liberty University. He and his wife Diane have four children and three grandchildren. Bro. Eddie has a passion for people, the Church, expository preaching and missions. He also enjoys playing golf, fishing, boating and several other outdoor sports.
